Paramedic / Team Leader / Clinical Deployment Supervisor
Ricky Lam is a registered paramedic with experience in remote and isolated practice, resource management and deployment, and telehealth. As an advanced care paramedic with the Queensland Ambulance Service, he has held several supervisory and leadership roles, leading paramedics and multidisciplinary teams in clinical deployment, healthcare navigation, and critical incident/disaster management settings.

He is actively involved in research and evidence-based practice. His peer-reviewed publications have focused on cultural competence training in paramedicine. Currently, he is completing a project exploring telehealth outcomes for non-English speaking patients in the emergency ambulance context.
